Bands
Do you know Niklaus from one of those bands?
Hess-Rusch-Hegner
In 2021, Niklaus joined forces with Thomas Hegner («Ländlertrio Augenschmaus») and Simon and Cyrill Rusch («Rusch-Büeblä») to found a new band and go on a musical road-trip across Switzerland. Since then, they've been setting venues ablaze across the country. Swiss Television calls the four guys «the high-flyers of the young folk music scene» – what an honor!

Gasser-Hess-Zumstein
Initially performing as the «Ländlertrio Gasser-Hess» with Beny Gasser and Seebi Diener on bass, Sämi Zumstein has completed the quartet since 2023. The fiery original compositions by Beny and Sämi further enrich the repertoire. The four lads especially love playing at rustic, lively dance nights where people do «juuzä», «bödälä» and «gäuerlä»!
Bürgler-Gisler-Hess
Together with Angela Gisler («Echo vom Ürnerländli») as well as Erich Bürgler and Seebi Diener («Ländlertrio Tänzig»), this band fully lives out their shared passion for the authentic traditional folk music. Since Angela, as a mother of several children, currently has other priorities, Marlene Roth («Ländlertrio Blatter-Roth») steps in as the perfect stand-in joker, and the group temporarily transforms into «Bürgler-Roth-Hess».

Echo vom Hindere-Litzä
Since childhood, Niklaus has performed with Stefan Hodel (Schwyzerörgeli) and Beat Müller (bass) as part of the Küssnacht traditional costume group. For them, fun always comes first! That's why the three friends enjoy playing at all kinds of private and public events, where cheerful songs and rustic dances lift the guests' spirits.
Bodäständix
With authentic and faithful interpretations of well-known Swiss folk music composers, these ten young musicians from Central Switzerland deliver genuine folk music at its finest. Archaic «Naturjüüz» and «Büchelgsätzli» as well as original «Gäuerler» interludes round off the traditional program. Performers include Angela Gisler, siblings Mirielle, Cécile, and Florin Schmidig, along with Niklaus Hess, Erich Bürgler, Michi Müller, Seebi Diener, Bruno Auf der Maur, and Basil Imlig.
